I have good friends who are really into wildlife, fishing and hunting and I was looking for ways to incorporate more animals into my artistic practice. There truly is inspiration in everything and everyone.

Blaumeise is the German name for the bird represented in the picture. It's the making of this piece that made me truly consider pursuing art professionally.

The painting that started it all. My first born child. Looking at it makes me emotional to this day, as it represents the death of my old self and the birth of who I decided to become.
